Converted from an old warehouse, this original Victorian building was completely refurbished and two floors were added to the top of the building to create 15,000 sq ft of office space. It had brand new electrical infrastructure with suspended lighting systems throughout and a brand new fire and security system.
We installed a brand new fire alarm system suitable for a modern office block.
All life safety and security systems including Fire alarm systems, Refuge system, WC alarm, CCTV, Intruder alarms and access control protection were designed, supplied and installed by Security Assured with the assistance of our key suppliers.
Part of the huge redevelopment of the Kings Cross area of London, this project provided housing, retail units and office space. We were involved in the office part of the development installing fire alarms in six brand new office buildings.
The extensive development and fit-out works across four floors of the building included 32 games rooms across medieval, industrial, futuristic and aztec zones, corporate bar and commercial kitchen. The development took place over a 20 week construction programme.
Boxpark is the world’s first pop-up mall and is associated with great food and innovative events. This was Boxpark’s third site in London, following the established locations in Shoreditch and Croydon. Following an 18 week construction programme by main contractors RG Group, Boxpark, Wembley opened on Saturday 8th December.
