Access Control Security & CCTV Intergration
When you have integrating CCTV with access control you can:
- Activate a pan tilt zoom (PTZ) camera when someone unlocks a door. This camera then points at the specific door and starts recording.
- Alert a camera to start recording at a higher frame rate when the door opens.
- Receive email and text alerts when a person opens or unlocks a door or leaves it open.
Control from Your Smartphone
IP CCTV installations allow you to monitor your CCTV security systems on your smartphone or any other internet-enabled device from anywhere in the world. You can also access the system to:
- See who is arriving at your premises door before they knock and allow them access with a simple press of a button.
- Lock / unlock doors
Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) use their ability to store vast amounts of data to allow you to store far more frames of footage per second than traditional CCTV recorders. This means you also get far better quality recordings with a clearer, sharper picture.
NVRs also have the advantage that you can acces them over your network, including via your smartphone or other IP enabled device (laptops, tablets etc.).
Remote Monitored CCTV
We also offer a remote monitoring service for CCTV systems. This ensures your premises are monitored by a trained member of staff 24/7 who can respond to anything they see in a fast and appropriate way, including:
- Calling the emergency services if they see a fire or an intruder.
- Challenging the intruder verbally as an immediate deterrent if speakers are installed.
Remote monitoring also helps reduce false alarms and saves on the costs of manned guarding.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
ANPR systems identify vehicles by their number plates.
When used with CCTV analytics, you can create access lists so that gates or barriers open automatically whenever an authorised vehicle approaches.
You can also remove the need for barriers altogether and create a ‘digital fence’. The system then notifies security staff when a new or unauthorised vehicle enters the site, creating a more welcoming environment without compromising security.
Video Encoding and Decoding
Video encoders and decoders allow you to integrate your existing analogue CCTV cameras with a new network or IP CCTV system.
You get all the benefits of a network-based IP CCTV system without having to replace your existing analogue cameras and cabling. If your budget does not allow for a full IP CCTV upgrade in a single phase, this equipment allows you to upgrade your system in manageable stages.
CCTV analytics are a powerful automated tool that reviews what the cameras see and makes decisions on what requires action.
This software identifies events such as unauthorised entry, vehicle movements and objects left in or removed from an area as potential threats and notifies you that they have taken place. It is also self-developing and learns to tell the difference between genuine alarms and false alarms, saving you time and money.
Like remote CCTV monitoring, it can also provide an option that saves on the costs of manned guarding.
